Slanted

Summary

Slanted is a short film about the East and South East Asian diasporic experience. Through contemporary circus and drag, we explore themes including colonization, xenophobia, identity and our own intercultural challenges. With the concept born even before the pandemic, the importance of this work being developed by and for the Asian community is even more relevant with the continued experiences of Asian Hate.
